Misha Florian
Hi, my name is Misha Florian (real name Michal Florian, formerly known as Misha). I'm a 19-year-old pop songwriter, producer and singer from Czechia.
My story with music began when I started playing piano at 4 years old, followed by my parents signing me up for piano and choir lessons. At the time, I mostly played and practiced classical music.
At 9 years old (in 2016), I became a popular internet personality as part of meme group "Mishovy silenosti", where my brother was the writer and producer and I was the lead singer, with the song "I Play Pokémon GO Everyday" being my and my brother's biggest hit from those times. This popularity followed by my lacking motivation for music made me quit music lessons and focus on being a YouTuber. My English was pretty bad at the time, so my brother had to help me with the pronunciation / meaning of what I was singing.
In 2017 however, I started speaking English to people on the internet and came across music about some of my favorite games. When I saw some behind the scenes footage of people making the songs, I thought I wanted to do that too, so in 2018, I started making some of that music myself. It was a slow process, as I barely knew anything about music when I started, but doing it nearly all day every day made it possible for me to eventually make decent sounding music.
In 2021, 3 years after I started writing music, I started listening to popular music that was not about games. I previously deemed romantically inspired songs as "cringe", but I guess growing up made me see it differently, and I realized how much good music is truly out there. Inspired by what I had heard, I released my first non-nerdcore album under the name "Misha" in 2021. It wasn't the greatest, but it was enough for my audience back then to see my potential for the future. This was followed by my second album Unimaginable Feelings in 2022, which included what's still my most streamed song, "3 am".
I didn't release much in the following years, but I was still hard at work improving my music, with the 2024 EPs you were my world, maybe i was yours and lifetimes proving that, with some of my most emotional tracks and (in my opinion) much better lyrics than before.
In 2025, I changed my artist name to "Misha Florian" and released the full-length album nychthemeron, which is a collection of some of the best songs I wrote from 2022 to 2024 (and finished in 2025). 2025 was a tough year for me in general, but it's also the year I wrote some of my best music, and I can't wait for you to hear it in 2026!
